SUPPORTING OUR SCHOOLS
The legislature voted to improve education, pairing a historic investment of $525 million more for K-12 education and reforms aimed at keeping the best teachers in the classroom (2015 Special Session House Journal page 14). In addition, the legislature froze tuition and in some cases reduce tuition at Minnesota colleges, and passed a new tax credit for students paying off loans and parents saving for College (2015 House Journal page 4875)
