COVID-19

Just like your families, the last seven months under COVID have changed our daily lives. Nobody asked for a pandemic and it has rightfully become the top priority. While many aspects are controversial, the response to the emergency was met with bipartisan support, including mine. We appropriated $500 Million aimed at managing the response, and $200 Million for health care providers, like M Health Fairview, to prepare.

In addition, I successfully advocated, for local governments to receive a share of CARES funds. I’m proud to have supported the $4 Million Lakeville received to address our local needs, including small business grants.

COVID is a serious health threat, and nobody wins. We will continue to do what is needed to manage the challenge.
